What drives History ?
Ah ! I am glad you have asked me this question.
I see the stream of world events (History) as propelled by three main factors:
-1- Psychology
-2- Economics
-3- Technology
Those factors should always be considered together, as they greatly influence one another.
Other, commonly mentioned, factors, such as Politics for example, are more of a consequence than a cause of events.
