CAN I ADD TO MY FACEBOOK OR MY WEB SITE THE PICTURES FROM OUR PHOTO SESSION ?
The Session images are my copyright, I let you use those images for your own self-promotion but I expect you to be responsible when doing so.
Uploading those images to your Facebook, MySpace or similar online network is not recommended - there are better ways to publish them, as explained below.
If you are on Facebook I will be happy to add your image to my Facebook Sessions album so that you can link to it by tagging and comments. This way you are interacting with number of new people, rather than showing them to "friends" who already know you.
This way, also, all the comments and connections are kept in one place - the pictures (if tagged) will show up in your Facebook Profile, anyway. I believe that is the most effective way of using pictures with the Facebook interface.
Should you still want to copy those images to your other on-line albums, then OK, under following 3 conditions:
- credit 'photo: Jac Depczyk' (on Facebook also tag me somewhere in the picture)
- image must be no bigger than 500 pixels on the longer side
- publish no more than 4 images from any one session
Just to be clear - if you do not stick to those 3 simple rules I will not give you any future session images.
If you want any particular image published on the Internet just let me know and I will do it for you on jacdepczyk.com, netcells.net and/or egomorph.com
Each image will have a unique Internet address - anyone will be able to link to it and find it by searching the relevant site for your name.
Always contact me if you want to use my Session images anywhere else than your own web site, or your page on Netcells or Egomorph, thank you.
