I call Snaps - as opposed to ›Sessions - pictures taken for no purpose, other than enjoying the moment and the company of fellow humans. Digital Snaps date back to 2008 when the first high-resolution pocket camera appeared. It was interesting to be framing picture on the screen, rather than looking though a viewfinder. However, i have grown tired of those cameras' rapidly changing models, their high prices and limitations and went back to Nikon SLRs, which are now becoming really great with low light. I do not use flash as it kills colour, flattens space, destroys atmosphere and distracts people ;-)
When a Snap is marked as 'unprocessed' it means it is not cropped or edited in any way.
I like Snaps to be used by the people concerned, that is what photography is for - i will give you a secure private access to your Snaps, as long as you publish some of them on your personal blog page provided by my company Netcells (›netcells.net) - see ›FAQ67.
When people are on Facebook i might place 1 or 2 of their Snaps there, to get more create a Netcells login as mentioned above.
Snaps were initially published in the Images section of my site, like the ones on the right - you can search those for a ›Person's Name, but i have now decided to put them on my ›Netcells blog, this blog will soon be duplicated on my site, i am developing new functionality for it.
If you want me to snap your event please read ›FAQ14.
More usage information on ›JDIMG.net
Enjoy.
